    I was browsing through the site and saw this? Could it mean they are adding 485's to m17x series?

    Too bad following the link and customizing the resulting pages offers only the 460 and 6970. Maybe this is a sign of things to come soon.

    When I was originally shopping for a new gaming rig, the 485 was on my list of "must haves", oh well, next time. I'll do my best to enjoy what I have now!

    I hate to tell you but this is not something new, it's been this way for a long time, and Dell being notorious for making mistakes then we really can't conclude anything from this...

    Had a chat with a Alienware rep. He told me to wait for the new update but he didnt tell me when that will be. :confused: Maybe when the m18x shows up for sale. :confused:

    Knowing that the hd6970 already costs €400+ more, I doubt the gtx485m will be affordable. Still a nice find though ;-)

    Pity this has been up for a while :(

    According to some people from dell, they were actually prepping the m17x r3 for the 485m launch in January, but things fell through with the 485m. Hence why there were lots of signs of the 485m, and then they vanished. Probably related to how no one can get the 485m working in 3d yet
