I just did a fresh install of OS7, and use all the current drivers available on dell support for my specific unit tag.
But the video card is disappearing from my system. I have to reinstall the OS, I have using this version of driver: 332.21-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international.
Every time the display adapter disappear, i have to remove all the drivers using DriverSweeper.
But the issue keep doing the same thing.

I am not sure what I did wrong
I use this post to load the drivers: http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...install-ssd-instructions-recommendations.html
and of course i am using the drivers for my current unit
    any ideas?

When it disappears does it vanish from bios as well? Also this sounds like a failing video card.

Not from the bios, because if I go on safe mode, I am be able to see the display adapter as GTX 560, but not on normal mode.

Are you using the DELL version of the drivers for the Intel and nvidia cards?

Nop, the currente dell version is: v.269.03, A01, I decide to use upgraded version: 314.22-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international. I was using this version for long time, before to upgrade my SSD, that I did on the 2-3 past days

Does it work with the Dell version? If you install it.

In safe mode the card is running in VGA compatibility mode so is way less stressed.

What does device manager say is installed when the error happens?

I'd try removing it altogether and making sure it all runs fine. Putting it back might make a better connection if that is all the problem is.

Otherwise it does sound like a card going bad :(

Cool, it's quite straightforward. Just three screws to pop the fan and another two to release the card and heatsink as a single unit :D.

    Good luck.

I did, I removed the back cover and I pull out the card, i cleaned using a small brush and I put back. Now seems that is working fine. I install the lattes oficial video driver. But I would like to use the current version from nVidia. But look like is not working on all systems

    That's good news :D

All the drivers after 314.22 have been giving problems. The latest one is very much a step backwards looking at all the people having problems :(. The latest one is working fine for me so it's worth a try. Get yourself some benchmark data (in-game benchmarks?) and then update it to see if it offers anything? Unlikely though (maybe a few FPS) since performance hikes are targeted at the latest cards...

    Good luck ;)
