Okay, so... It goes like this:
Old motherboard shorted out, so I got a new one and installed it.
Put 580M in the compy and updated to the A12 BIOS.
Windows did its thing and installed the generic drivers it has going for the card.
Card is not used in games. The HD3000 is. And yes, GPU-z sees the 580M.![]()
But... I can't install the latest drivers for it because it states that I need to install an Intel Driver first?Wuts dat meen?

You need to install the Intel HD3000 GPU Driver.
Download from here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Se...+Processors+with+Intel®+HD+Graphics+3000/2000 and then install it. Reboot then install the Nvidia driver. -
Wait... wait... got it.
Switched to PEG in the BIOS and now we're good.

I dont think the 580M is Optimus enabled. However, you could use BinaryGFX
GTX 580M halp!
