    GTX 580M halp!

    Okay, so... It goes like this:


    Old motherboard shorted out, so I got a new one and installed it.

    Put 580M in the compy and updated to the A12 BIOS.

    Windows did its thing and installed the generic drivers it has going for the card.

    Card is not used in games. The HD3000 is. And yes, GPU-z sees the 580M. :p


    But... I can't install the latest drivers for it because it states that I need to install an Intel Driver first? o_O Wuts dat meen?

    Switched to PEG in the BIOS and now we're good. :D

    You would still need to install the intel driver first if you want to use Optimus technology.

    This should fix it, in the case you want to use the Optimus settings... You need to use the DELL intel driver.

    I dont think the 580M is Optimus enabled. However, you could use BinaryGFX
