My question is that " Ignore all the other graphics cards, is gtx 675m a good graphics card? Does it provide the needs that we want when we play games?"

    Thank you for your reply

It's not worth the price currently provided, no. If it's priced the same as the 7970M, because you can't disregard the other GPUs if it's the same price, then it's highly overpriced.

It plays games about as well as a GTX 460. Probably a bit better because the larger framebuffer.

I find it perfect for any game I try today. I am a 3D fan though that was my primary....

I have a 6990m right now which is around the same speed give or take. While it does great now, I see it quickly falling behind as newer games come out in the following years. The later GPU's such as the 7970m and 680m are much much faster. I would get one of them if I were you. ;)

It works fine for all my current games, although I've mostly been using it for Tribes: Ascend and LoL at max. CoD: MW3 works great as well. I already have plans to upgrade to the 680m, though. Also, I am not using 3D vision.

675M = 580M rebranded and overclocked. It should play nearly all games out today by "ignoring" all other options/price.

Same clock speeds as well :). I have have not found a game that does not play fine; like max payne 3, metro 2033, crysis 2, etc...

I think you can get a 6990m or 7970m for pretty much the same price and they will give you a better performance. Anyways the 675m is a very good video card for the latest games.

Not a very good article. There are a few data spec errors. Right off the bat it says 'a renamed version of th (sic) GeForce GTX 580M but with higher core clock rates.' Wrong!! I have had both chips and both have exactly the same clock rates, even all the P state clocks (also incorrectly stated in this article) are the same. :(
