Trying to order the new M17xr4 now with the new motherboard and GPU

But this seems like Nvidia is out of touch with reality
    [IMG]

They decided to charge more for less? a weaker and older card yet 150$ more what??????

Usually they charge silly extra money for barely 1-2% performance boost but charging more for a weaker card? :/ it's not even a kepler, there gotta be something wrong just making sure before i order, if GTX675m was 150$ CHEAPER i might have considered it, i hope it's a typo from dell

There is no benchmark yet but it is speculated to be anywhere 15-35% better than 6990M. Depends on how hopeful you are.

3d and physx cost a premium.
in money... and now in performance it would seem????

honestly tho, next gen cards seem to dissapoint a little. but then again we were a little spoiled in this current gen, such a huge boost from previous (like sli/crossfire prev gen = 1 card current gen)
was hoping for a similar or same boost.

When I saw new GPU's in m17x and m18x i was like sweet high end mobile kepler cards yay. Then I saw this re branded crap. All I know is I really hope mobile kepler (GTX 680m) will be out by June when mobile Ivy Bridge chips come out. That way on the Ivy Bridge refresh of the m17x and m18x it can also get the kepler gtx 680m.

And for 3d lovers, flagship mobile kepler + 120hz 3d screen = quality 3d frame rates and resolutions.
