As the title says, its up and ready for ordering. Looks like they took away the 3D 120hz screen though. Real bummer.

Yup, I saw that, although they still have a bug in the builder where it says you need a different PSU and will not confirm the build :(

From Alienware's Facebook page: "The 3D screen option will be made avaliable with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 700 Series GPUs in a few days. We are still working through compatibility issues before we can make it avaliable with the 800 series GPUs. - jra"

I returned my original machine but def gonna hold off until they put up the 3D screen before I re-order with the 880m

There is a work around that bug: when you choose GTX 880m, message about the psu comes up. At the same screen there is an option marked for 240w psu, which is already marked. If you mark it again, the error message disappears and you can continue with the order. ;)

Would you have to return the whole unit or do you think an on site swap could be done?

I would think you would need to return the whole unit. Since most people get some kind of offer/sale price for specific system, the same discount might not apply for the GTX 880m.

Dell UK website does not make much sense when upgrading AW 17: you can choose GTX 880, but you are limited to the lowest performance CPU from the bunch. If you want to upgrade the CPU, your GPU has to be R9 m290x. :/
