My laptop Alienware M17xR3 got problem with its graphic card. When i start to play game such as Guild Wars 2, CS:Go. At the first start, the FPS was fine but after a few minutes the FPS suddenly dropped down. For example: from 80 to 20. Then it rose back up again. The process keep repeating everytime i play. Are there any solutions that could help me out?. Here are my spec:

    Proccessor: Inter (R) Core i7 2860QM
    RAM: 16GB
    Graphic Card: GTX580M

If there are further information needed, tell me so that i can add in.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the 580m throttling issue. Do a search on here and you'll find instructions showing you how to help prevent that from happening as quickly and allowing you to play your games.

I found a word to explain my problem. It's stuttering. I have checked the temperature and the temperature isn't higher than 60 degree. It's stuttered for awhile then the screen back to smooth again.

I had the same symptoms. After trying a lot of things related to the graphics card (see my previous post) AW determined that there was an issue with the Seagate 500 gB hard drive - failed the "end to end threshold" test when checked with HD Tune pro trial version.

After a replacement HD, fresh install of Win7 and all drivers, all is well again. Something else to consider in addition to the other throttling recommedations.

I think he means your HDD right now may be broken. If you have a spare 2.5" HDD, replace it with your current HDD and check if you still have that issue again.

I don't know if the HDD is expensive to replace or not =o? Also, is it easy to change?

Depends on what type you want to get, generally, HDD is not very expensive and it's extremely easy to replace. But based on your answer, can I assume that you don't have a spare 2.5" HDD? If yes, I think you should wait to see if people can come up with other theories. You probably don't want to buy a new HDD only to find the problem is still there.
