    Hello everyone, I joined a while ago when I had reformated my pc because of an amazing user how had helped get the newest driver working for my 260M and well I'm back to the issue lol.

    I want to do some gaming but I don't have the cash to upgrade mylaptop atm so I'm wondering what is the best stable driver currently for the 260m? I was looking at a post Katalin_2003 made on another thread helping with a modded 310.33 and I see they are up to the 310.90 now.

    Would their mod (located here - http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/700176-m17x-r1-cant-install-new-nvidia-drivers.html) Work with the 310.90 on a 260M? Has anyone tried?

    If not then would someone be willing to help me with a mod for the most stable one at the moment?

    Would really appreciate it =) Thanks in advance.

    On NVIDIA's driver page it shows that the GTX 260M is supported on 310.90. Give it a try.

    Had to do the whole run around as normal and hybrid graphics disabled as usual!

    Edit: It actually says it works in the thread you linked to for those drivers!

    Probably because anything computer related is outrageously price here, and shipping from the mainland is slow/expensive.

    NewEgg is minimum $20 shipping on everything even if it says free shipping! Thankfully ShopRunner free trial has saved me for a bit.
