I purchased my R3 with a single 750gb hard drive. I just recently purchased a second identical 750gb hard drive for extra storage to use in a non raid configuration. I installed the second drive without any problems. Upon first boot to windows the drivers for the drive automatically installed but the drive is not appearing in windows. Now, I am assuming that I have to do something either in the bios or within the Intel Rapid Storage Technology setup (ctrl + I option comes up when I boot) to make the second drive appear as a storage drive. Would someone be able to lend me a hand with exactly what setting I need to change to get the drive to appear? I don't want to risk the chance of screwing up and wiping my main OS drive.

Whilst in Windows, right click on Computer>Manage>Storage>Disk Management

Find your second hard drive (it won't have a drive letter for now), you can right click>format it if necessary.

Then right click > Change drive letter and paths. Give it a drive letter.

Once done, it will appear in My Computer
