This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Google Chrome causing sound stuttering

    The title is pretty much what the issue is. I don't see the same issue with Firefox or with any other network traffic. I'm at a loss. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    Agreed..Try this.. Seems weird as I've never heard of chrome causing sound problems.. More like video stuttering usually...

    Okay...ndis.sys seems to be part of the problem.

    Ended up updating both WLAN and Ethernet NIC drivers, restarted, haven't had any issues. Also uninstalled Avast! firewall for good measure. We shall see...it always seems to come back with time.
