    Evening fellow members!

A tech came in today and swapped out my 285M for 5870s. Pretty happy at first. Installed dell's official latest 10.10 from their website and the latest A01 vBIOS afterwards.

What I see now on my external HDMI display is like this:

    and

As you can see, the image shrinks on the external display and I'm very  about this.

What do you guys think about this issue?

Am I better off with the latest 10.11 driver?

Haven't even thought about testing in games, just wanted to get it properly displayed on my HDMI external first :(

    Much thanks!

just completely wiped out the old driver and installed Grim's 10.11 complete care. Everything looks perfect except for that the external hdmi display can't be filled completely. Here is a screen shot of my GPUz:

Any help would be appreciated! I don't even want to open a game right now because it looks weird on the screen =(

Sorry to build up the thread by myself. But I looked into the CCC, and i found this setting here, it looks like it only support up to 1680 x 1050. And if I use CCC to configure the res to be 1680 x 1050, it becomes full screen now. Does this mean everyone can run no more than that res on their external display? Or is it just my system?

super very great, i found the solution, thanks everyone lol

You know, this is really silly that ATI did this. But I just read that they freaking underscan the display by like 7%, which caused those stupid black margins... I was stupid enough to mess with every other single option w/o trying this "scaling options" tab first. I'll responsibly make it a screenshot and post up, so the following members who may encounter this issue and can't find an answer can be benefited =)

    Night guys.

I was indeed sweating over this issue, cuz i didn't want to my first A-card to be problematic. Turns out ATI was joking with us =]
