    Got my M17x r4 today - Disappointment

    For step five just make sure you save the file as user.cfg not user.txt.cfg or user.txt

    Don't worry about the all files part as you don't have to do it in notepad to save a file as another file type than txt

    EDIT my bad I quoted instead of edit like I intended to

    Ahh ok thankyou very much so ive got all of that bit! So i go into bf3 and where all the folders are i make a new one and inside use microsoft word to type in those things (one after the other or press enter and leave a gap?) then save it inside a new folder?

    Don't make a new folder, make a new text file. (Right click your mouse - new text file) Then open that file and follow the rest of the steps.

    ok and i make a new text file inside the bf3 directory amougnst all the other folders and files! how will i know if its working once done?

    If you see a number up in the right hand corner in hovering around 60, thats your FPS. That means its working
