    Got used M17x R1 with qx9300

    Just got M17x with qx9300 and 280m sli.

    Ran 3dmark06 and got only 15000.
    Is this right?

    My other machine with x9100 was getting 14000.

    both running A07 bios with no overclock

    It is right. 3Dmark06 only use 2 cores of 4. So if you have the QX9300 clocked @ X9100 clocks then they should score about the same.

    QX9300 @3.6 and stock GTX 280M SLI, score about 17k + in my system.
