I have a spare GTX 1070 laying around from a custom PC build that never really got off the ground once I decided I needed a notebook. Can I plug this in to the AGA and supplement or at least push all graphics processing to the amp? I would like to keep the heat and fan noise down if possible. I haven't been getting the same overheating issues that people are talking about in the interwebs but I would like to extend the life of my internal GPU if possible. Does anybody know if this is possible before I buy the AGA? Thanks.

I got an amplifier for a friend and tried it with my AW 17R4. GTX 1070 founder's edition works. You just need to make sure you connect an external monitor to the card in the amp and use the external monitor to play games.

Yeah, if the card is along the founder's edition size/dimension it should fit right in.You can keep the heat off of your AW laptop but noise is a totally different story on the AGA. You can watch youtube videos and swap for a noctua fan (way more quiet) and you'll be good.
