I just got my M17x R4 a couple of days ago and have ran into a weird issue. When running the unit with integrated graphics, the laptop is working perfectly. Gaming Battlefield 3 for a couple of hours, no issue. However, the second I press the I/D GFX switch button and reboot, the entire screen gets a reddish tint and starts to flicker with several artifacts. How come the NVIDIA GPU works perfectly fine when the integrated is also enabled, but goes all haywire when integrated is disabled. Any thoughts?

    Alienware M17x, 680M, BIOS A09.

Happens all the way from POST, and is also present in the BIOS, so doubt drivers will help it. Though for the record I'm running the 310.70 drivers.

It could be a motherboard issue, or even the LCD cable. Please send me a PM with your tag, phone and a brief description of the issue and I'll do my best to help you out with this.

Have same problem with my M17x R4 (which is 1 month old) but with AMD 7970m card. I am getting a green tinted screen when switching the cards. If you find a solution to this problem please post it here.
