    HD7970M only scored a 6.9?

    So I just got my m17x r4 today, and ran the windows experience index,but somehow I got only a 6.9 for the graphic
    Is there something wrong with my graphi card?
    I haven't install any drivers yet, maybe thats the problem?

    Could be the drivers, also windows may need to recalculate the score. But it should be higher than that. I have a 675mx that gives me a 7.6

    Gives me 7.9 at stock speeds and 8.1 with some OC in Windows 8 in an R2.

    Run a 3dMark Vantage and/or 3dMark 11 benchmark and link us the result page, we should be able to tell more from that info if it's working as it should.
    Also, which drivers are you using?

    Update the drivers. The 7970M should either give you a 7.8 or 7.9, most likely a 7.9.

    I get 8.0 at stock on Windows 8 with the latest beta drivers.

    I tried to run with 3d mark 11, but an error occured related to the driver
    I already have catalyst control center installed on my laptop

    Its probably running the test using the onboard graphics.
