    Physically there should be no trouble, but you have to a clean install obviously and that causes some people trouble.

    Yep, that would work beautifully. I would maybe suggest a different brand SSD, such as Crucial or Intel.

    I would buy crucial or intel. A lot of r3 users here have reported issues with vertex 3. Once you have your ssd, just put it on port 1 to ensure a sata 3 6gbps speed. Put your storage in port 0.

    You should know that the 1Tb WD blue is 12,5mm high so make sure that the R3 can accommodate it first ;)
    I know that the M17x and the M17x R2 can but they have a different chassis.
