    Can the optical drive bay fit a 3.5" HDD?

    That's a no, but you can replace your optical drive with an enclosure to house a 2.5" HD 12,7mm high.

    yeah it's possible. I'm running a 1tb HDD instead of a DVD drive.

    Not only is that a no, that's impossible. Laptop doesn't output enough power.
