    hello , ive been getting HDD failure for 3times already and mobo change. any tips how to solve the problem? my aw17 is just 7months old.

    Replace the hdd and buy you a 256/512GB samsung ssd 840 evo as they are very cheap and of good quality. Better than small mSATA and standard hdd. :thumbsup:

    what if the problem happen again ? will it destroy my ssd? if yes , then its not worth buying ssd.

    If the problem happens again, there's a very slim chance the SSD would be damaged. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

    I just want to understand what is happening. You say you have had to replace the following parts; 3 x HDD and 1 x mobo. Was this done under warranty? Post your computer info plus your OS.

    Having 3 x HDD failures is very unusual because these days they are very reliable.

    What brand of HDD were they and how do you know they had actually failed?
    Is it possible you have picked up a virus from somewhere you repeatedly visit?
    Do you run Anti virus software?

    A standard hard :)disk is probably the weakest link in a pc nowadays. It is almost unlikely that an SSD fails due to other errors with pc.
