This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HDDs Hate Me

    I backup my Alienware M17x R2 every monday at 12:01am. Guess when my HDD decided to fail? Saturday.

    And apparently "next day on site service" doesn't count the 2-3 days it takes for the HDD to get to the technician and however long it take the technician to call me & set up an appointment.

    This is the second time something goes wrong INBETWEEN BACKUPS. HDDs and Backups hate me so much.
