I have the M17x R1, and i cant connect the TV to the HDMI.
On the TV dispaly is says "no signal" (samsung SyncMaster P2770HD) but the laptop dose "see" the TV (when i open the Nvidia control panel).
I know that the cable is fine (checked it with another laptop and everything was working).

    M17x R1
    Win 7
    GTX 260M

Looking for your advice for how to make it work.

    tnx!

if you didn't try this yet,I'd try a lighter cable if available. my 17xR4 has the same problem when I use a (insanely heavy and thick) monster-cable HDMI cord that has like two times the normal amount of insulation around its wires, but it works fine on my raspberry pi.

Is it set to duplicate or to extend?
