    So I was setting up my HDMi with my HDTV and it loads up, everything on the TV has a purpleish hue, then when i hit desktop on my computer, the TV goes black screen... very weird...

    Any ideas on why this is happening? Its a Sony TV... :confused:

    I have mine connected to a Sony Bravia tv and am having no issues. Make sure you are running at a resolution the TV supports (1920x1080) and set the video to display on the external screen.
