I got the same problems, and 280.26 is the lasted one worked fine with HDMI In.

Might work, might not, but have you tried setting the HDMI-IN sound through IDT Audio Control Panel?

Yap,i have enabled it in IDT,also experimented with audio settings in PS3,still no sound.Noticed that this is a common problem with Nvidia card owners, how about AMD card owners?

You are using the AMD HDMI Audio driver for a system with NVIDIA GPU?

For AMD owners, you don't need to use the Windows XP version if you use the Windows 7 x64 desktop Catalyst package to get them. If the HDMI Audio Driver is not included in your normal Catalyst Mobility package, you can download Catalyst for the desktop cards and copy over the folder into the extracted Catalyst Mobility package. I used to have to do this for HDMI Audio Drivers on the M17x R2 all the time.

Just save the WDM folder with the HD Audio drivers to copy into the "\Packages\Drivers" folder with all your new Catalyst Mobility updates in the future.

For NVIDIA owners, if you still have the 280.26 driver package, try copying over (replacing) the HDAudio folder in the extracted driver package. This would be similar to what AMD owners had had to do in the past.

I had this problem where the sound would cut out after like 15-20 seconds... Solved it with a certain fix. If you search for my post (search: hdmi in m17xr3 ps3, or something like that), you'll find the fix.

Otherwise, the fix is in my picture. Make sure your settings for the HDMI-in are exactly like how I set it. Maybe that'll fix ur issue?
