Okay so after reading all about how Eurocom's 680m setup worked well in m17x r3's I bought one. I can't get a driver to work. The modified driver installs, reboots, and the screen is blank.

If I start in safemode I can see the 680m is installed, but inspector doesn't recognize it. I've tried bios A10 and A12. I've tried disabling the onboard video in bios and disabling it via device manager. I have an email in to Eurocom, but I haven't heard anything yet. I've even tried installing the current driver from nvidia with the onboard video disabled in bios (PEG) and it doesn't find a recognized device.

I had hoped to be able to run an unmodifed driver with the onboard disabled.

    Thoughts?

    Another ? or 2, if I may...

Which VBIOS should I use as this is a 4GB card I bough from Eurocom and not a stock Dell? Does it matter? It's running fine now, but of course I want to try and OC it. I was able to push the memory using nvidia inspector, but although I up'd the GPU to the +135 limit, it never actually increased (according to inspector).

In any event, what does the SATA tweak in the unlocked BIOS do anyway? I didn't bother with that as the standard Dell A12 is working fine...?

    Thanks again!
