Ok, so my M17x has been giving me trouble, here is the story:
I was happily playing Team Fortress 2 when I decided I wanted to play some Just Cause 2, I got to turn SLI on, I do so, restart the computer, leave for about 15 minutes, come back to the login screen, login, go on youtube, go on a video, go fullscreen with 1080p, loads 1 second then FREEZES with the mouse only being able to move every 20 seconds or so, CTRL ALT DELETE didn't work.

I restart the computer to make it to the part after it goes "Starting windows" it makes the welcoming noise noise but at this moment I know something is wrong, when it makes the welcome noise I have the ability to log in, and the facial recognition software is usually up, however this time it was only the Alienware login screen picture with no accounts or facial recognition software up, the mouse was up with the little spinning wheel next to it when all of a sudden my worst fears are realized. Out of nowhere the Alienware login picture just starts flashing on and off, on and off while the mouse pointer is acting completely strange (I can move it though.) The little wheel is going all around the mouse, it is usually on the top right, it might be there, then it will be on the top left, the underneath it etc etc.
No matter what I try I CANNOT fix this problem, however I left the computer while it was doing this for 20 minutes and when I returned this error message had appeared: LoginUI.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x0207191a referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program. (When I click ok it just goes back to flashing and all that.)

What the hell is wrong with my system? I have dual NVIDIA 285m's I believe. I don't really thing any other specs matter but if they do do not hesitate to ask.

WHEN IT IS FLASHING I CANNOT LOG IN OR DO ANYTHING BUT RESTART MY COMPUTER

Edit: I typed this on my old Macbook pro (It was a gift, don't ask.) and I am currently running diagnostics.

Try doing a system restore to an earlier point and see if that resolves your problem. In the future, when watching youtube or any flash video, turn off GPU acceleration by right clicking-->settings-->uncheck hardware acceleration.

I just worked out it isn't a graphics card, I went into control panel in safe mode, disabled both of them, booted up in normal mode and the problem still persists! What the hell!?!?!?

Um... My computer just went into something called "Startup repair" by itself, doing its own thing. I don't have Alienware contact on right now so it looks like my computer has actually realized something is wrong. About fricken time is all I can say.

EDIT: Lol! Looks like its "restoring itself to an earlier point." That answers my previous question. 5150Joker if you have anything to do with this, I love you.

Oh my god it's fixed, I love whoever did that and they can have my babies. If it was the computer than it can have an internet baby.
