    HELP: warranty issues, wat should i do?

    hey guys, i just bought my laptop off ebay from a seller who has very good ratings.. the laptop is brand new (sealed with dell's tape) and when i opened it, all the discs and manuals and cables and even the laptop is untouched.. so i asked the person to provide me with the previous owner details so that i can do an ownership transfer... the problem is, he said he DOES NOT have them..

    what should i do now? without the owner's details, can i get a new warranty?
