I have the hard drive physically installed but windows does not recognize it in the "My Computer" section nor can I download anything to the drive. The Intel Rapid Storage program recognizes it, however windows does not. Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Had this happen to me too, this is what I followed to get it to register:

Since your drive is probably not corrupt, skip step 4 and the first part of step 5.
