    Has anybody resolved the soundblaster problem?

    So I've phoned Dell twice to find a replacement MOBO, they told me all they have are "refurbished" boards, which is what I got in the first place...and ebay is full of "refurbished" boards too. Is there any place I can get a NEW board altogether? I'm done playing the refurbished game, will NEVER purchase anything refurb ever again.

    It's hard to find them NEW, we don't have many for sale in the US (if there are any)
    Have you tried Canada? I believe they can't sell refurb parts there. Am I right?

    I've tried canada,but they will not ship to US (at least says the rep I tried). I tried again with another rep, and they confirmed there are no new boards to be purchased. Really a bummer :(

    That is correct, our laws prohibit replacement parts to be refurb, they have to be new. Works out good for us when it comes to replacements because they ship us new computers, although it can delay the arrival as they get built from scratch.
