    Hey,

I want to move up to the M17X and I've heard that dell offers a trade in service? Has anyone got any experience in using this?

Reckon i'll get a rubbish price for my M15X?

    Thanks! :D

Don't do it, you have a fast PC already. If you really want to do it, sell your m15x on Craigslist or ebay and get top dollar. If this is anything like what bestbuy offers in their buy back program, then you have to originally pay for enrollment and then get about 50% of the value you payed in the first 6 months then 40% in the first year, then 30% in the first year and a half and the 20% in 2 years.... not worth it....

I think the program they offer is something you actually have to pay for at purchase and then it offers between 20 and 50% depending on how long you've had it. I'd stay as far away from "trade-in" programs as possible as you'll get screwed worse than trading a used car into a dealership :(

ahhhh thanks for the advice guys. Probably best to stay away then aha

I'll probably upgrade the M15X or sell it and move up...only thing that puts me off though is trying to sell it on a site such as ebay, especially when it has issues like the audio crackling which i still haven't found a fix for after trawling through all the threads on this forum :/
