I'm hoping some of you folks have some suggestions. I recently updated to Catalyst 12.6, and I just tried to update to 12.8, but after making the attempt I noticed that the software in the CCC still said 12.6. Moreover, I've started noticing that my Firefox browser, although useable, is having lots of "white screen" issues and crashes. I'm guessing that all of this is related to my drivers. Any suggestions?

You have to reboot after you update ANY driver. If that doesn't work, uninstall the driver, reboot, reinstall 12.8, reboot.

I've rebooted. It just doesn't reflect the 12.8 software. I've read somewhere that there may be problems trying to install new drivers over anything other than the original Dell drivers? 12.6 worked pretty well for me, but 12.8 seems to be a bit of a mess.
