    Hi, there is a diffrence between the 3x pipe gpu heatsink from Alienware 17x R3 vs R4 vs R5?? or the heatsink from gtx 780m vs gtx 880m? I want to buy a 3x pipe gpu heatsink and I dont know which one is the best from my gtx 780m???

    should be the same gpu 3 pipe heat sink for the 780 and 880... your 780 should have the 3 pipe already

    I've made an upgrade from gtx 770m that comes only with 2x pipe heatsinks gpu....

    The 770m is a lower rated card so it gets less. Both the 780m and 880m are 100w.

    The M17x R4 100w heatsink will fit onto the 780m but the fin stack won't fit into the laptop. You would need to find a proper AW 17 heatsink, the way you can tell is that it has 3 pipes and is coated black.

    The 770m does not need a 3 pipe heatsink as it doesn't heat that much.
