Well, today I powered on my M17x and was met with a flickering login screen. I get to the Windows 7 Home Premium Screen where you normally select your user to login, however no users show up and the screen flickers violently between the blue login screen and a black screen. The mouse cursor also flickers with it to slightly different positions on the blank screen and login screen.

Any idea what might be causing this? I just went in and reseated the graphics cards and same problem. The system does boot up fine to safe mode no flickering at all... :( Please help

Should I be able to reinstall the drivers for the GPUs in safe mode? I just tried to and got error: Failed to Load Detection Driver

You won't be able to install them in Safe Mode but you will be able to uninstall them, clean your registry reboot again in windows and reinstall them or another known stable version for your cards.

    cheers

Already uninstalled and cleaned registry, still couldn't get anywhere with that.

Probably just going to go straight for a OS reinstall, hopefully that will fix the problem.
