    Hey guys,
I just loaded Bad Company 2 and updated/patched it today.
When in game for 20 seconds it freezes up. Definitely a GPU/Driver issue. When I disable Crossfire it runs great! What's the deal? Driver issue? Anybody else having problems.

I can play Crysis and Crysis Warhead Max settings with no problems with Crossfire enabled. So I know both GPU's are good. I can also run Furmark and 3DMark06 back to back with no problems. Temps get to about 85-93C but that's with Extreme Burning mode and 8XAA for 10 minutes

Any suggestions would be great. I have BIOS A09 and the most updated vBIOS and latest ATI Drivers
    Thanks

I've never heard of BC2 locking up. Do you have your CPU overclocked? If so, reduce it back to stock settings and then run the game again.

Yes my CPU is at 5%. I'll try it at 0% and get back to you
Why would that make it freeze?

Because BFBC2 is a cpu intensive game and your 920xm may not be stable at 5% without a voltage increase.

Oh snap. You might be right. Should I up the voltage and try the game? Or should I just drop it to 0% and try it

First drop it to 0% and test.

Joker your right! It plays just fine at 0%
should I add 75mv or 150mv to the CPU at 5%?
those are my only 2 options in the BIOS
I love these forumns! Such helpful people out there :)

thanks to Joker. I upped my CPU voltage to 75mv and everything works great.
I guess my 5% overclock didnt have enough juice on stock voltage
