    I ordered a Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD for my Alienware M17x R4. Before I go crazy without any experience on SSD installation I thought of NBR.

    Any help regarding step by step procedures, guides or precautions will be really helpful.

    I already have a 1TB HDD on HDD Module 0, should I install the SSD on the Module 0 or Module 1, if it matters.

    I will be primarily using the SSD for the OS and the HDD as a storage disk. Any advice on this will also be appreciated.

    Also, What is mSATA and can I install a mSATA later with SSD & HDD already on the machine?

    1/ Just install it on any of the 2 bays, change the boot order to it, install Windows and drivers. ENJOY!
    2/ mSATA is a smaller SSD that can be installed on a different bay of the machine, you can use it as a boot drive or as cache (to increase a drive speed). You can add it anytime even if you have those 2 drives. You can use it to cache the storage device for it to load files faster.
