Hi, i am having a hard time playing video games in my M17x R3. Every time i play games for about 15-30mins. my screen crashes and goes blackscreen. Where can i check my Alienware OSD driver version?
Any solution for this issue?

There is a new version on the support site.
If you adjust the volume and its indicated by blocks you have the old version. -
What volume?
-
Your laptop volume. The new version shows it just like the volume icon on the right bottom corner. With the curved line's instead of blocks.
I really cant explain it any better.

Just uninstqll your current version, reboot and get the new one here:

Mr. Brabostaan, thank you, you did explain it right. It's just me who didn't get it sorry
Like you said, i'll lower my volume and hope there won't be any crash anymore when i am in brutal gaming.
EDIT: My laptop volume shows a volume icon with a curved line representing the volume level. Is this the latest version? -
katalin 2003, i just got the latest OSD driver, can you teach me how to uninstall it?
-
Then you have the latest version installed.

I haven't got any crash yet i've played for almost 10 hours today.
I lowered my volume to 50%. -
Its not about how high or low your volume is, its about how its displayed on screen.
The old version shows volume adjustment as an amount of blocks when adjusted higher or lower, the new version as curved line's. -
Should i downgrade it or not?
