Well recently, I don't even know what happened, my alienfx lights are pretty much frozen like stuck on white in the middle of morphing colors. I press FN+f11 but it just says in the bottom right hand corner Alienware AlienFX is disabled now. When i open command center and go to AlienFx, it says "The device you have selected is included in the current theme but AlienFX cannot detect this device on your system. Do you want to remove this device from the current theme?". Someone help me out i have an M17xR1

You could try uninstalling command centre and then reinstalling it......thats what i would try first...

i tried reinstalling it but had no success

I did read somewhere on NBR that if you run a colour scheme with too many changes/flashing lights etc etc....it can cause various problems, like if your chosen schem is over complex, it has difficulty in performing it...in lamens terms...
Do you have a complex scheme on the go ? - do you get the same with less complex patters (less flashing lights/morphing?) -
its pretty much a slow morph from red to blue to white to red and repeats, it just suddenly stopped and now i guess command center cant detect it
edit: if i try to change the theme same results, i press apply and nothing happens, just a white colored keyboard -

Hmmm..besided doin the uninstall CC trick, Im not sure why its doing that...its not a complex theme so that shouldnt cause a problem....its probably something simple but im not sure myself....

well right now it says "fast access tray alert detected an older version running. Please reboot now to complete the installation of the new version." I already rebooted my comp twice with the same message
-
now i have this message
"There was an error while AlienFX Controller was communicating with the computer. This might have been caused due to a problem with the hardware or the software.Try these solutions to correct the issue, in the following order:
- Try to enable AlienFX Controller again. Right-click on the AlienFX icon in the Windows notification area and select 'Enable Alienware AlienFX'.
- Shut down your computer and power it back on.
If neither of these solutions works, please contact Alienware technical support.
This error may also be caused if Alienware AlienFX software is installed on a computer without the proper hardware support for Alienware AlienFX." -
