It's very simple ... revert to any non 347.XX driver ... Use Nvidia Inspector & crack those sliders up ... Mine can clock crazy on the memory +500 MHz is nothing to it while on the core it can barely hold +50 MHz ... Hope your luck is better than mine

Dude I'm a huge freaking nub with all of this. could you give me a download link? And it's that simple? I don't have to have a custom bios? Or anything ?

This is a simple enough guide

Just take it step by step & don't go "full throttle" :) take your time test your clocks for stability & temperatures before settling on a suitable overclock

Btw. no need for custom bios or anything

YESSS it worked man, I'll link up pictures. And now that's done, may I ask for your help on overclocking my cpu? I want to constantly run it at 4.0mhz cause I know it can handle it.

i7-4710HQ can run at 3.5GHz on 4 cores tops... It won't reach 4GHz.. for that you need 4800/4810MQ...

Thanks for the information, is there a way to make it constantly run 3.5?

Congratz mate  ... For the processor simply go to windows power profile settings & set both minimum & maximum processor power states to 100% & it should run on full turbo boost speed all the time if the thermal headroom allows it

You should also set this in XTU.. Basically set in XTU the max multipliers for 1 core, 2 cores, 3/4 cores to 35x and then it should run at it as long as there is enough power...

can't you use throttlestop as well? Just curious as that's what I've always used.

You can.. I've used XTU as it was easier.. I need to use throttlestop too to prevent downclocking due to tdp power limit..
