    Hey all,
My alien seems to be on its way out :( . I was hoping for some help just to make sure i covered all bases before i contact support.

My mic has stopped working. I've checked the windows setting and reinstalled the driver still nothing.

Some of my ram has failed i swapped it out and put some new sticks in. Hoping it was just coincidental and not related. running more tests on it now.

The USB 3 ports keep dropping in and out, have just reinstalled the driver, hoping that will sort it.

Also noticed that some of GPU thermal pads are missing, well sort of i found them in the HDD bay!!!

    Thanks for you help

Run the PSA at POST (hit F12 at POST and select diagnostics). Let it run thru ALL the tests. Record any error codes it may give you. If there is a problem with your CPU, RAM, or motherboard, it will tell you.

As far as the thermal pads in HDD bay...that's weird! Unless they migrated on their own or were shot that way by the fan, they must've been put there by a less-than-knowledgeable service technician.
