    Hello friends!!

    I have an M17x R3
    -gtx 580m
    -8 gb ram
    -Windows 7 Home premium
    -i7 2760QM CPU

    I need help in updating my BIOS since I haven't done it before. I also don't know how to update the vBios.

    Clear instructions would really help me. Thanks for taking the time in reading this! :)

    Here's a link to the latest BIOS

    Dell Alienware M17xR3 system BIOS A12

    Just download the file and double-click to install, make sure you have the AC adapter plugged in while doing the BIOS update.

    As for the vBIOS, you can download it here.

    In order to install the vBIOS, you need to be running on Dell's nvidia drivers. If you updated to the latest on nvidia you can re-download Dell nVidia driver here.

    To install the vBIOS follow these steps:

    1. Download the ISO file provided on the link above.
    2. Burn the ISO file to a blank CD.
    3. Reboot the system
    4. Press F12 to choose CD/DVD drive
    5. When promoted, press Y


    That should be about it :D

    HI guys,

    I have an M17x R3
    -gtx 580m
    -Windows 7 Home premium 64
    -A12 Bios

    And cant install this drivers Gfx_NV_P11_306.97_1FWD3_setup_ZPE, I get an error that the hardware does not support.


    WHY?
