Touch thus far everything is in order. I have done clean install. Still loading programs, while nuking is going on in the R2 hard drives.

I was able to install the new Nvidia verde Driver, but I noticed its different and limited in the resolution section. Unlike the default driver by Dell, nvidia's doesnt have resolutions for HDV/SD etc.

However the 3D configuration etc worked perfectly fine. screen came with high gamma, and had to tweak it up withing windows for font crispness etc. Its nice and pleasant. I would say its indeed significantly lighter than R2. Somewhat feels like my previous Dell Studio XPS. Touchpad is simple too great compared to that of R2. And finally i could type and use the keyboard without having my lower hand or arm poked at by the front angles/corners.

They could have made the status keys of num-lock etc a little larger. Sound quality and loudness is equivalent to R2. I tested it with both on max volume. Maybe sound enthusiasts may disagree.

I have checked all the jacks except for the optical output. I didnt want to risk it now. Maybe next year !!! Hahaha. But so far, thank god all is fine. I am glad because I went out in the rain drenched wet on a bike to get this mothership. I could wait for the courier guy to take his own sweet time. Luckily the whole box was tightly sealed in wrapper that we get in the airports.

After all that waiting and haggling for months together, suddenly its all quiet, so quiet that I am having a hard time to think what needs to be done and checked . Currently I am downloading Dell driver for Nvidia since the resource cd doesnt seem to have it.

Anyway, I will be greatly humbled if any of do take the time to transmit any ideas or inputs as to what I should lookout or test for importantly.

Oh before I forget. My battery wear is at 8.3%. Is this acceptable? I am not freaking out...but if its not acceptable, I could simply as them to send me a battery.

At the moment I am trying to test the battery timing. I brought the brightness to Zero. Its still nice to view since its the 3D screen, so no probs. Went dark on Alien FX except status light. Full life time estimate by Battery Bar is 3 Hours. Any way to push it any further. Ideas are needed. Because it would be nice to have as much juice as possible when I am at the airport etc..

Thank you for guiding myself and many others thus far and please continue to do so.
