    How can I verify RGB? m17x r2

    I need to do a clean reinstall and it looks like it has it I just wanted to doublecheck... is there a way to verify the RGB panel on m17x r2?

    Yes, install something like HwInfo32 or Astra and look for the monitor's serial number.
    Post It herr and we'll tell you, or Google it and I'm sure you'll find info on it.

    Ok, download the .exe version, install it, and look under Monitor, you'll find It there.

    I must be a total noob... half the stuff i click i get a picture that says hotlinking not allowed.. when im on the page i cant see anywhere where to click download... only 'donload' i see is driver updater etc etc :confused:

    I have the RGB panel 1920*1200 (1200p) -K1NFP€170CT -first RGB version -SEC5443 -DELL 0CWMH. Is there a big different between the second RGB panel? I hope not.....

    I dont think theres a difference thats noticeable to the untrained eye. I sold an i540 r2 with 4870s and I think perhaps the screen was more brighter than my current one. I could be just thinking things but that one I sold might have had an earlier screen. Too bad I didnt have them side by side to compare I had to sell one to get the other :/
