    So I have an Alienware M17x R3.
    Got a Radeon 6990M videocard.
I have no idea how to update my drivers, I tried going on AMD website and it keeps saying it's not compatible.
Why is it so complicated with AMD ? I had no problem back in the days I owned GeForce cards. What am I supposed to do ? Can you even get new drivers for this card or you're stuck with the factory one ?

Try THESE. The latest beta drivers. I'm using them myself under Win 8 x64.

Try catalyst 12.8 or 12.10, they seem to be the best for 5xxx and 6xxx series
