    Hi
I am sure this question has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer by searching the forum so maybe someone can point me in the right direction please?

My new m17x r3 arrives tomorrow and I would like to transfer games from my m11x. I have most of my games on disc so it should be easy to install them that way but how do I transfer my saved progress? Some of the games are linked to my Steam account and some to E.A.

For a couple of games I bought them online and don't have the discs so any advice about those games too?

    Thanks

    Gerry

A lot of games store the saves in your Documents folder. I backed up my Steam folder and the saves in the Documents folder then transferred them from my M11x to M17x.

Oh, if you have any offline games for windows profiles, you'll need to back that up too or all of your offline game saves will be lost, regardless of if you back them up or not.

Its usually located in C:/ prgram files 86 under GFWL.

Gerry, just copy the whole game install and drop it onto your new computer.

Install the game on your m17x.

next copy the save directories to your new computer...after you install the game, it should create the same folder structure on your new m17x...just overwrite them with the ones from your m11x
