    How hot does your PSU get?

    On full load, it gets up to 67 C. That's hotter than my cpu on medium load! Is this normal?

    I'm glad mine gets warm. I'm in the basement, so I put my feet on it to keep them warm :D

    yep, perfectly normal.

    electrical conversions (ac -> dc) aren't 100% efficient. heat is a product of that inefficiency (same thing with lightbulbs, they're way more inefficient).

    are you smelling burning plastic? that's when it's time to call dell and get it replaced...

    Mine gets warm/hot, but not so hot to make the alienware stiker i put on it to detach
