    How long did it take?

I've heard lots of storys on these forums of peoples R1's breaking down, sending them in, and getting R2's back(or at least I think it was lots, my memory betrays me constantly).

How long did it take this to happen?

I want to know, because I have the nice big "best" contract on my M17x R2, and I want to know if at one point it starts going down hill if I should wait out a certain amount of time before calling in and yelling and trying to get a replacement(if it ever craps out on me.)

EDIT: And I just wanted to say, before anyone points at me and accuses me of trying to exploit dell for a better laptop(Which, by the way, I totally would), that I am all ready having a few problems with my M17x R2, and its only 4-6months old.

    going downhill = ?

if something breaks, you call them and they come and fix it.

if you have the best contract, you can make them replace scratched parts. can't beat that with a stick....
