    Hey guys,

We just came out with a simple guide on how to reduce the time it takes for your computer to shutdown. It was intended to address an issue were the system would get stuck while shutting down, but it works for this as well :p

    Enjoy!

Cheers, I will definitely have a look. I get issues shutting down when I have external HDD's plugged in.

Thanks for the post! I have the R1 and always wondered why it would occasionally just not shut down.

This so far finally solved my problem. My R3 used to hang forever on "logging out" or "shutting down" after long use. I installed this last Friday night and haven't had any problem yet.
Actually, it shuts down so fast and that's my worry now lol!

    Thanks!

    Edit:

I still have the same problem after I shutdown last night. I thought it's just gonna take some time so I left it at "logging out" screen and its still there when I woke up this morning. I thought its finally gone :(
