Yo, so had my computer for about a week now, and huuu, on dell's forum when I asked how to switch graphics card manually, they told me hold the FN button and press F7 (which has "I/D GFX" written all over it...). But when I pressed it on original Dell drive it would show a nice box (the same as when you press mute or change volume etc... from the quick access buttons) and not do anything.
Now on my new drive with win 7 pro it shows me a windows box saying:
xD ... Anyone can lighten me up on the subject?

I don't have a 3D system xD... though it seems both cards are able to display it. I'm guessing no current R3s are gonna be using this feature then? too bad that button seemed fun to press :(
PS: I don't think it gets any faster than that to get a freaking answer xD....

You have Optimus, switching goes automaticly. With AMD you can switch with FN+F7.

Did you install the latest version of OSD? That might explain the "box"

That's what it was, my memory did not serve me right though, it's still a box though it now says:
    Your graphics solution is automatically
    configured for optimal performance

Thanks nice one brabostaan :). It's really too bad cause this automatic switching is basically what creates the driver problem
