    How to unlock TDP on m17x r4?

    I 'upgrade" my cpu to 2920xm and overclock to 4.5x4.but when I run p95 to test,the clock will fall to 2.9g.hwmonitor tell me the tdp is still limited can't go above 66w(short)55w(long).
    I try to adjust setting in bios and use throttlestop,nothing change.

    Have you tried a less aggressive clock?

    I tried 4Gx4 nothing changed.The problem is I set tdp to 99w,but cpu's power can't go above the limit always under 66w/55w

    I always thought the XM had a unlocked TDP, if not it makes them only 10watts better in performance vs a QM...

    Did you checked you temps, maybe it's running far to hot....

    I dont think the problem is temp.When I play game,cpu can run 4.5gx4 and temp will around 80C.
