Ahuhs, Yes you can upgrade to both those components.

There are plenty of guides on here to disassembling the notebook so that should help you change out and in the new parts.

First things 1st is you have to obtain the parts. I'm sure ebay have quite a lot of options for the CPU but I'm not to sure about the GTX 280m SLi. Maybe ebay or try contacting dell for a price. There are other sites but they can be quite pricey. So you will have to compare and shop around. Also some people I have read on these forums might have the 280m's just sitting on the shelf lol; so PM them and see if they want to sell them to you. Cheers.

The top post mentions the 280s just sitting on the shelf lol. Not sure if they want to sell them or not but you could ask I guess.

The only other options that I know of are you could get another GTX 260 card and run them both in SLi or you can get the 2X 4870 Crossfire option. Cheers.

and if you get the second 260m, you will need the SLi kit which includes the second fan, and Sli cable
