Hello, I have the crappy 1600 x 900 resolution and I want to upgrade to FHD LCD. I have a capable card (gtx 580m), but is the upgrade possible?

Unless you have precision cutting tools, a heat gun, a glass cutter and a soldering iron, you cannot change the LCD. You can however purchase a whole display assembly including the front glass etc otherwise, it is virtually impossible.

That's a great upgrade you want to get, definitely a must... I'm a HD junkie btw (love things in HD)

Here's a step by step guide on How to remove the LCD assembly, it's for the M17x R4 but for this purpose it works the same :D

Well you're a fool for skimping on the screen resolution in the first place.
